Nelson tune for tr 224 112...
#1
Ill be putting the tr 224 in the truck after christmas and i was wondering how everybody liked the nelson tune with that cam in a 4.8. I know mail order can be kinda hard to get right. If there are a lot of probs, i am going to get my own tuning software. I just dont want to spend that money if i dont have to. How do yall like your nelson cam tunes?
Thanks,
Derek

it never did work out..
PM me and I can try and help you out.
I am currently running a tune done by me in Edit with the help of a friend.
if you can get to someone near you that would be the best..
I just dont believe that mail order tune from "anyone" for this type of cam in a 4.8L will ever run exactly right.
it really needs to be looked at in person, and tuned that way..
Pm me and we can talk about..
Disclaimer...
I am in no way saying that anyone tuner can not tune..
so those of you that are tuners dont take this as me saying you cant tune...
I am speaking about this with first hand experiance, and being I am the only one to get a 4.8L into the low 13's on motor alone, I feel I have some info I can share on this certain cam setup..
thank you...

A friend of mine had his tuned by Allen. It was an ECSB with a 4.8 and bolt-ons + 224 cam. I believe he runs mid or low 13's on motor. His cousin is on LS1Truck as hmcracing99 if you want to hit him up and see what he could tell you about it.
