nelson tune or paceset headers
#11
Both the headers and tune are relatively in same price range, depending on what year of truck it is. Its going to be $400+ for the tune, the best bang for your buck will be the tune, but you never know when the introductory price for the headers is going to end, and the price for the tunes might not go up. I would say get the headers now and tune later, which is what I'm doing.

I just have the Volant w/ ram air and Nelson's tune. I want to say if I had to guess, my truck would run in the low 14's. I would like to say breaking right under 14, but I might just be thinking of it too highly due to Nelson's tune.
It just amazed me at how much different it ran.
I would say headers first, then Nelson's tune.

i say call allen up and tell him you need a tune and let him know that you are going to put on some pacesetters. that way he will adjust it to be right when the headers are installed. the most it will do is change the ltrims a bit. but remember that the pcm will bring them back in line for you. the tune will be the best mod.
