I was planning on going the Transgo route with some billet servos before I get a tune. I was hoping that with those tranny mods TM could be eliminated. So what do you mean by "fully built". I would love to have TM gone forever, but I can't afford my tranny "to die a horrible death".

TM is just GM's band-aid for crappy drivetrain components!

fully built is referring to a tranny that has been gone through and the cheesy parts removed and hipo parts put in. usually a good start to a stout tranny is a 4l65 upgrade and then go in and put in 9 clutches and so on.

I still don't get why I'm getting negative 10 degrees timing through shifts with (engine) TM removed. What does Allen's engine TM removal do, just stop timing being pulled through the powerband?
