Default need well designed header for truck

Supercharged/nitrous motor. Looking for 1 7/8 tube preferred at least 1 3/4. Longtubes prefered as well, given the long runner intake.

What do you guys know of? I looked at the dynatechs, but it seems they have 2.5" collectors, wayy too small.

Anyone tried the car headers in terms of fitment? Collector design in some of the truck headers Ive seen so far doesnt look so hot

The Fbody headers wont fit. TOG, ASM, and Thorley are very popular. I have Thorley and really like them. If I didnt have so many other needed mods at one time I wouldve spent a little more and gotten the TOG's.

Greentahoe, have you ever posted a vid of your ride with the magnaflows? It seems like I saw a vid that you posted or someone with a tahoe and magnaflows. I ordered mine today, and I really want that vid because it was one of the deciding factors for me.

I wish thorley made one for the 6.0.

By the way, ALL of the truck headers have the 2.5" collectors. You will have to enlarge those collectors, or add new ones if you want 3". I believe BigTex has enlarged a set of AS&M's

I think they'll work for a 6.0L. I hope so. I have a brand new set sitting here waiting for my 6.0L to get here. Some guy had a post in the classified for a truck with a 6.0L and thorleys, so that's why I ordered mine.(and a little reassurance from BigTex)

Why the TOG's? They don't even look like long tubes. By now we all ought to know long tubes are the only way to go.

Slowprocess - I surprised you went with the TOG's. What was the reason you went them besides sound ?

I'm looking for a new set of headers. Are the Thorleys long tubes? What sold you on the Thorleys?
