Default need traction

I have a regular cab stepside 2002 5.3 with a procharger kit, headers, built transmission with 3000 stall, and powertrax unit in the rear. I was wanting know if anyone knew some tricks to get more traction. I would like to put either ladder bars or a four link. Even with the powertrax in from a stop I spin all through first hit rev and some through second. Now I know trucks are real light in the rear and I am not going to hook like a race car but any little bit of traction will help.

Are you running stock tires? If so sounds like you need wider tires so you can hook.

I think I have a solution...

The GT-II's are really a mediocre tread design and rubber compound. I'm sure you've also noticed that Goodyear has trouble controlling runout on them.

I also have a suggestion for what to do with your Eagles.

Note I have Scorpions on the front and still had the old Eagles on the back...

ROAST THEM!
