cool.

the wet kit has all the solenoids/tie in with the fuel system.... i think i can route the dry kit out of the way, and the bottle in my toolbox, and i should be okay. this tranny may take a dump after the cam/LT's and gears...but who knows? i just wanna be covered for my 100,000.

These tranny's are pretty tough I think you will be ok for a while .If I'm not mistaken they have a 4L65E in them.

Took it to the track. W/just the CAI it ran a 10.59@67.88MPH in the 1/8 and a 16.29@87.67MPH in the 1/4. Next sunday I will be back with a converter and shift kit and 150 wet shot and see what it does.

umm the 4l60e is by no means a "Strong" transmission for the trucks, maybe in an F-body but we shell them with stock trucks much less any extra power

Yeah , The weight is a factor for sure . I thought these trucks had the 4l65 in them. But I guess not . I ,ll run mine till it goes then I will rebuild it with better parts.

if it helps any, the 07 trucks respond real good to mods, there is a 07 nnbs 4.8 with all the boltons, cam, converer, on 24's here in houston and it has hit 14.0 in the 1/4, pretty damn impressive, take those 24's off and do some weight reduction and I bet it'll run a very low 13...

That is good news to me . I think I will put an ls6 cam and intake on mine after I get the stall in it and see what it does. They will be coming off of my freinds 2004 CTS-V.
