it kind of pisses me off with the inherent weakness of the 4l60e and the g80, and how gm has to input so much TQ management into the pcm's, to keep their 100,000 mile warranty, why use such a weak unit?

of course the first answer is "cost". but i mean damn, i would like to buy a vehicle and not have to swap out the entire driveline to do any modding.

i guess one could argue that you have to swap heads,cam, ect to gain power, but of course, because those components were designed and installed for the everyday driver. But to have to stregthen everything else to withstand a few extra horses,
