Default Need some answers and opinions! Thanks ahead of time

Hey guys im collecting up parts for my truck.
its gonna be awhile before it all gets installed cause im tight on time and cash right now.

So what im getting is a nnbs intake. 243 heads. A 220 cam 112lsa(either tsp or tr) sounds like they are the same. Pac springs and pushrods i gues since ill be in there. O and i guess mill the heads to keep compression.

What i already have is lt's a magnaflow exhaust, cai, circle d 3200 stall, and 410's(thinking bout 456s).

So my questions are...
is it the pac 1218s im looking for?
is .030 a good amount to mill the 243s?
What kinda pushrods should i go with?
And where are y'all getting the xlinks from to run the nnbs intake?

All opinions highly appreciated! !!
God bless!
Abey

abey, it would help if you mention size of motor....assuming its a 5.3....

tr220 is a 551 if i recall correctly. tsp has a low lift similar and then a higher lift with 581 lift. both will perform bout the same really but lower lift easier on springs.

pac1218 or psi ml1511s are the springs to get. both are high quality single springs that can be used with stock retainers and seats. the pac1218 are good up to 600 and psi ml1511s up to .630. the pac1218s will tend to run lower price while the psi ml1511s are pricier but will last longer. the ml in psi ml1511 is for max life and with a 551 lift cam can last up to 50k miles. i personally use those and can get you a set with less than 1k miles for 125 shipped if interested.

milling the 243s .030 to maintain compression while increasing flow since they are better flowing heads will be a good idea.

standard usual pushrod size is 7.400. however since heads will be milled, i would think 7.375 would be best. always best to measure but i think 7.375 would be okay. i am sure someone else will chime and correct me if i am wrong.

3200 stall will be good.

i would keep 4.10s as 4.56s will suck up more gas and you will run out of cam so keep the 4.10s.

you may want to look up bluecajun 5.3 build. he ran a 5.3 with tr220 with great success. feel free to pm me or text me with any ?s bro.

GOD Bless, Rob (956) 802-7700.

didnt answer bout the x link because ive never used one nor know where everybody else gets them...lol.

just listed a set of psi max life 1511s on the classifieds section. glad youve decided to keep 4.11s as wouldnt be optimal and saves you money on buying other gears and install.

werd.

i bought a tr cam and they told me I needed the 7.400's. After a bunch of noise, I traded them to a guy for some 7.450's.

way better off with the checker.
