Need some advice for this weekend at the track

I doubt I will be going tonight but now that I am back home I will be there on a fairly regular basis. I do plan on going to hattiesburg next sunday with some friends though.

Flip those mirrors in and leave the tailgate at home or flip it down...id usually hit it on the 2nd yellow light, but i am on 20s with goodyear GT2s.... no traction city...
my first run ever was a 15.9 i got excited and just mashed when i saw green...i got smoked by a northstar caddy... 2 runs later i was pullin 15.1s the rest of the night..that was wiht a upd and hpp3...good luck...and do NOT go through the water traps!
****, my truck must be a dud. My best run was a 16.4 at LACR and I have more mods than you...wtf?? It was 90 out though...pretty hot.

oh and i forgot on the last couple runs i took my air filter out but by then i was losing traction so i was running slower times anyway.... your trucks not a dud it cool for what u have set up mines a dud for a 5.3zee my friend in an extended cab 5.3 went with me the same night and did a 15.3 bone stock he just took his head light off hacked the air box and took his filter out.. and shifted like a maniac and stil he been warantied for three tranny in 2 years cuz hes BONESTOCK. last time he blew it he was doing donuts in the rain...
BTW we have the same exact rims and tires i had just bought 2 new ones for the rear like 2 days before i took it to the track for my first and only time too... i really felt bad doing burnout after burn out on those brand new 20 inch tires...
