I have a 1999 Silverado. I am finished with the 6.0L swap and I also added a 4L80E. Anyways does anyone have a part number for the dipstick for the 80E? I just heated up the 60E and made it work. I bought a HD one but that didn't fit. Thanks for the help.

 

What do you mean heated it and made it work? My 80e came out of a truck that had an engine fire so the handle was melted off the dipstick. I compared it with my original 60e stick and it was exactly the same so I just used it. Maybe 4x4's use a different one?

 

Well i just used the torch and heated it up and bent it so it would fit. My truck is two wheel drive. The 60E was not even close to fitting.
