Default Need Opinion on 34" Radiator

Im about to finally get the E-fans,intake,injectors,etc.. put on and i had originally planned on getting the 34" radiator but Im having second thoughts. Yes the LS1/LT1 fans will work on the 34" radiator but do I really need it. Someone help me out on this. Its $230+ for one but is it needed. Mods below are current!

I wanted to do it b/c in Jegs & Summit they say "gain 17 hp". Went with GM '05 fans and the larger radiator. Couldn't give a before/after # because everything was done at the same time. The best thing is the added space not having a fan clutch. Really helps when changing a belt.

well with my mods i can cruise at the strip (that's bumper to bumper trafic, stop go, max mph about 15, 90* temp) with both fans on low rigged to a toggle switch my factory gauge reads 205* temp.

You don't need the 34" rad with the lS1 type fans. You do need the 34" rad with the 05 Truck Fans.

Oh i know that IM just talking about from a cooling stand point. Would it be worth $250 for the cooling gains if there are any noticable ones. If it is gonna make me noticably cooler Ill do it!

The 34" rad has to have additional cooling capacity. $230 bucks worth. In my opinion, no. Most of the horsepower I think comes from the removing he rotational mass of the fan. Not the cooler temps.
