Default Need help with VSC install

Well to make a long story short... I bought ls1 fans and a vsc from a friend. They worked great on his truck, but now he seems to have miss placed the instructions. I can wire it up but I do not know what wires go were into the vsc. If anyone could help it would be appreciated.

#1 Battery Negative
#2 Negative to Fans
#3 Positive to Fans
#4 Positive input to Battery
#5 Negative Override Signal OFF
#6 Negative Override Signal ON
#7 AC compressor Negative Signal
#8 AC compressor Positive Signal
#9 Ignition Positive Signal
#10 Temp. Sensor Positive
#11 Temp. Sensor Negative

Hope that helps, if not give me your email, and I'll scan you the instructions.
Best of luck to you with that VSC.

Yeah the flex-a-lite VSC kinda blows! You should try delta current control

Thank you for that info. I take it that you have not had good luck with a vsc?

Nope, the 25amp one was toasted, and they sent me the revised 40amp one free. That lasted for quite awhile, but it started acting up.

Flyer sent me one of his harnesses. I love it! No worries now, not even in the 100+ degree heat we're having. The fans pull harder and the truck consistently runs cooler.

While I never had any trouble outta my VSC I did replace it with a Nelson Fan Harness and did the appropriate computer changes to get it all working. I feel better with the computer operating the fans knowing all the trouble guys have had with the VSC.

I've never had prob with my VSC, but if I had to start from scratch I would probably do the nelson harness too. I emailed you this but just in case someone searches for it here it is.
Try this, page 2 (http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/282.pdf) This is how mine are wired up. I used the + on the AC. I got this from flex-a-lites page.

i threw my vsc and all of the wiring away 2 days ago. the nelson harness was almost too easy to install, it looks way better and im no longer afraid to park my truck running and leave it for extended periods of time. the vsc would need to be beat on every once in a while to get it to kick on
