a lsx "car" intake will disapoint anyone not runnin over 6k rpm. you'll be slower off the line and wont see enough gains in the rpm band to make the swap worth it.
just tell him to buy some juice and spray the *$&% out of it

im revving 7k on a heads/cam LS1. i gained/lost absolutely nothing. its a pointless mod IMO. V8 lost et with the weiland ls6 style intake and 01 thunders low 13 second truck hasnt put down a 13.99 et since swapping to the ls6 style intake.
