with a good set of headers and the stock gaskets you could probably get away without the bolt even being in there......I ran almost 70,000 miles with only three bolts on one side with my old heads because two had broken off (the ones that broke were the ones at the ends of the manifold), I never had a leak.....

Ok that makes me feel better then. I used the thorley gaskets. They seem to be pretty good. The truck runs a lot better with the headers. It has a nice deep sound to it now and awsome low end power.

By the way, thanks to everyone who helped me out. I thought I was about to have a nervous break down lol.

don't do **** or try and drill it out and put a hole in the head like I did Amazon has a kit it's some bracket their is the link im not a hero im just a man with a lil knolage from my own mistakes and their is another way also you need to get alum powder Mix it with water and some how soak the bolt in it let it soak over night the mix eats the steel bolt completely leaving threads fully in tact does nothing to the aluminum head

Its been 16 years since he broke that bolt, hopefully by now its been sorted out.
