Unhappy need help with guages

coming home from work today and my speedo dropped from around 60mph to about 30 and then bounced back up, then my tach started bouncing around. i thought ok, wierd. well a little further down the road i looked again and the speedo was over on 100 and the tach was on zero. my temp gauge looked off as well as my volt meter. i had no gear selecter lit up and the other square info center was not working. anyone have any clue as to what could be causing this. i checked a few fuses in the cab and they looked good. could it be a fuse under the hood?

You may want to check the alternator, truck did strange things kinda like that when the alternator went out.

Check the plug that goes into the cluster too. Pull the fascia thing off, then 4 bolts that hold the cluster in. The bolts are 7mm and the fascia just snaps in place.

I had one wire on mine that started getting buggy. I would have to hit the dash going down the road sometimes. My gauges would just 0 out though.
