Need help with clearances

I should be ok but can someone help me figure this out? I want to make sure I have enough piston to valve clearance. lq9(flat top), milled .020 off heads, .588 lift, stock length pushrods.

todd you will be fine i have the lqa with soild lifters and my lift 584 on exhust and when i checked it witch i did 2 ways first i did it with clay and came up with 108 ths clearance and then i put the valve to full lift thenback the nut off the rocker and counted the tuns then put 110 ths shims between the rocker and head ofthe valve and counted the turns back down and still had 1 1/2 extra turn.

Duration of the cam and LSA plays a big part in that equation as well. If its a big wide cam, it may or may not have the valves closed soon enough. I doubt that you'll have problems unless you are running something silly like a 244 duration cam.
