Need help with asp pulleys.

Default Need help with asp pulleys.

ok im reading about the pulleys and i see one has a 23 percent overdrive and other has a 32 percent overdrive for the alternator. Which one should i get if i have a system in my truck.

if you have high drawing things in your truck like a big system or lots of auxillary things and accessories you willl suffer with the 32%....but if you dont want can deal with a good deal lower current output go with 32% where did you find this pulley? im interested in the same thing but have only found 20%

Wait so is the 23% better or 32% better???

its a asp pulley i just am not sure which percentage overdrive to go with.

all of the crank pullies are the same size. the percentages change when you put the pulley onto the alternator.

electrcal wise i have electric fans, and a 760 watt amp pushing 2 subs. i dont have any voltage problems with my 105 amp alt. you could get the kit with both pulleys just incase you end up with voltage problems you could just toss on the alt pulley.

the higher percentage underdrive is the more speed is reduced. a 25% underdrive will reduce speed by 25%...where did you find the 32%? i have only found 25....texas, where did you order your pulley system from?

asp only makes one size pulley , the one you have

i went to lmperformance and looked at the pulley package that includes the crank pulley and alt underdrive etc i was wondering which belt i should use. aspracing gives part numbers for gates or something but i couldnt find the actual part for the life of me...would i need an ls1 serpentine or truck?
