Default Need grip

Hi all, I am finally back. I used to be known as truck but I thought StupidFast sounds better. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> I finally got my truck on the dyno: 330rwhp,325rwtq.
I need some tire. I would like to know what rims and tires I should run at the track, I currently run 275/45r20. I don't get much bite, my best run is 1/8: 9.117@78.4, 60ft: 3.0.
Thank you for your suggestions.

your torque numbers are a bit low for that kind of horse power. I would think it would be a bit more. Slobaknobyo....did you change your name again?

Haha - For all those who say the comp 212 keeps more low end than the LS6 cam! Looks like the HP #s are up and the TQ are down.

Red2k - this guy was here a while back. I think he said he had a set of LS6 heads he was going to put on.

truck - where did you get the 4L65E, and can you tell a difference in it?

I thought my numbers were good. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />
I had a set of LS6 heads but replaced them with ported 5.3 heads, flow numbers are a little higher. Hoping the smaller runners help my torque. My 4L65E parts came from the dealership I work at, no difference.

No offence there stupidfast. Sorry. I was just saying that in order to get the HP numbers up, you have to give up the TQ. My LS6 cam numbers show less than 10 more TQ than HP. With the comp 212 being larger, I would expect HP to be over TQ.

Those are good numbers. 330 is one of the highest 5.3 results I've seen.
