Default Need Exhaust opinions

Have catback now but want to remove cats and re-install it with diffrent mufflers. I really want to run straightpipes with no muffler but thats a ticket and hate giving the town my cash but anyway what do you think that a good sounding muffler would be without cats and with longtube hedders, dont have the hedders yet but will soon. So feel free to suggest what yous like. Thanks All

i'd recomend looking into some edelbrock mufflers. they aren't bad during cruising, but when you stand on it everyone will know...

You guys like the Hookers? I havent heard em yet. I have been thinking about putting one on my 05 and dumping it. Does it have a nice deep idle and growl or what? Thanx

If you want it loud put some cutouts on it, but you won't get the performance like some Magnaflows or some other high flow mufflers.

I had the edelbrock RPM series muffler on my old 99' and it sounded badass, except there was a small drone around 1800rpms that annoyed me a little. It was bad though.

dumped would be mean. the idle is pretty deep but not overly loud at all. push down on the go fast pedal and the demon comes alive. i will try to grab a quick vid tomorrow and post it up for ya.

Vid - Hooker
