need everyone's help..............stock crank balancer bolt wob-b-b-b-bles
#14
You know.... my bolt was loose when I first noticed that I was spinning the crank pulley. Have you pinned the pulley yet? Go ahead and get that cam and heads installed, pin the pulley and get it all finished at one time.
My bolt is centered properly, but my pulley has a very slight "out of round" to it. I suspect thats from all the times I've removed and installed it.

I will go out and check right now
Well good news and bad news
I work graveyard and had taken a couple of sleeping pill because I am getting ready to go to bed. So when I was backing my truck away from the wall to get a better look I had forgotten to open the garage door
Anyway is is hard to see mine but I think it was wobbling a little or it could of been my head spinning

Nice catch Grippy. Did you pin the crank pulley? If not, then that could account for the bolt unwinding. You might have to remove the heads and replace the cam to fix this problem

Good luck chief.
