You'll definitely need to get the truck tuned after the swap. You might be able to drive it, but it will stall out at stop signs or red lights most likely.

Lifters are ok. You can drive it for a while before getting it tuned. Just drive like a granny.

As for the balancer bolt, if you want to use a stretched bolt, that's fine. Just saying I wouldn't.
