Default NBS vs NNBS

Quick question. I have a 06 silverado cc and a buddy of mine has a 08 single cab. Both of us have an exhaust and that's it. We are gonna race this weekend but just out of curiosity has any body here raced a set up like this either having a nbs or a nnbs against each other. I'm just curious.

He has more torque management, but he should still take you.

Just curious, by better intake do you mean the airbox & filter or the actual intake that goes over the engine? Is there a benefit of installing this heads on a NBS 5.3? I think I could get them for cheap from a good friend.

As for the question, the NNBS are faster, torque management and all plus it's a RCSB.

Yes the intake on top of the engine is better and bigger, 90mm. And yes the heads off nnbs are 799/243 heads, the same that came on ls6 vettes.

It wouldn't be worthwhile to put those heads on a nbs unless you got them milled... They will drop the c/r on a nbs 5.3. If you got a set and had them milled and ported it should be very worthwhile and do a 90mm intake while your at it
