Default NBS 5.3 Exhaust Question

Ive got a nbs 2007 coming in next week w/5.3 reg cab that I just ordered today on dealer trade. Im sitting here at work and buying mods before Ive even taken ownership of the truck....what an idiot..

I just bought the K&N CAI tonight and I want to swap muffler as well...I put Hooker muffler on my 06 reg cab classic 4.8 w/turndown and it sounded pretty good...I plan on doing this with the new truck but I am not sure what diameter the exhaust is....Im hoping one of you smart guys can tell me if the 3in IN/3in OUT will still work.....

Thanks.

Yes, the stock exhaust looks to be around 2 3/4 or 3". The 3" in/out is what you need.

As stated above, 3" is good. it slips right over and fits nicely.
