Default NA 402 Torque monster

Found this on tech and thought of the truck applications.
This reminds me of someone elses setup on this board same heads and small cam making great area under the curve. This setup would be great for a truck, it makes 430 ftlbs at 3000 rpms and about 340 at 2000 area under the curve!!!!! If I had money this would be in my truck. Who needs a supercharger

that would be a great truck motor. dose it say it was the alum. block or iron

Yep. Plenty of usable power where you need it. Nice build.

Its an ls2 based build so it would be aluminum

Very nice. I know a guy where I live has 03 suburban Z71 daily driver with a Procharged iron block 408. I have a pretty quick ride and have been in many quick trucks but this thing amazes me. Basiclly Im saying 402 and 408s for that matter work great with trucks.

mmm torque... I wonder what that complete motor would cost.... prob around 8-10k complete

At least (Id guess more around 13k)the heads are 2400 and the fast that is ported by tony has to be around 2000, built 402 shortblock 5000, miezere waterpump, UD pullies, labor unfortunately the build page doesnt list price
I think it could be done for around 6k if you did it yourself using Darts and budget parts.
