Default N20 or more boost ??

Im torn between hooking up a wet kit or doing alchohol for more boost.
If I went with a wet kit I would only run a 35-50 shot. Otherwise I want 11-12# of boost. Which would be give better performance??? What about reliability?? Its just so hot here and Ive heard N2O is better in hot climates.
Also, anyone know how I could hook up the nozzle (for N20 or alchohol)?? The tubing after the blower is pretty thick metal and then just a rubber 90* elbow going to the TB.
Thanks

Id say more boost if you have a intercooler.Im running 10-10.5
pounds with a 160 stat and denso it22 plugs now.Its hot
and humid here now and i havent had a pinging at all.
Also i dont run anything but sunoco 94 gas.At 10psi
this thing flat out flys and theres nothing to refill.
I have had juice on three different cars and my biggest
problem was not being able to get the bottle refilled
before the speed shops closed with all the hours i work.

Ive been dredging through the old posts and it seems that alot of people like using a small shot, both for cooling benefits and for a great power increase.

Anyone know where I could mount the nozzle for either system on my setup??

I dont think Id need to mess with tuning with that small of a shot since Im only running 14* and a tad rich as is.

i am a big fan of the small shot with a blower. one of the bigest reasons are what you all ready said, the tuning.

with a shot you base tune will not change.
the cooling will help you run hard even on a hot day.
doesn't push you injectors any harder.
BIG torque out of the hole, even with a small shot, this will really inprove your 60' times.
when your ready for more power all you have to do is swap a jet, real easy.
with a 50shot you will get alot of runs out of a bottle.

if refills are a problem set yourslef up to do your own fills. dep on a cylinder for me was $200 and the nitrous is about 1/2 price of what the speed shops charge for it around here. pm me or post up if you want any info on refills, i have been doing it for awhile now and it was one of the best things i have done.

post up a pic of your motor. typicaly you will want to mount the nozle right before the throttle body but i dont know what your set up looks like.

sounds like you'd just run the nozzle through that rubber elbow

its a hard desicion between the two, but you gotta love the cooling factor of n2o, I guess the downside is the price of a whole nitrous kit

Ive been meaning to post pics of a few things . I will try to figure it out tonight. It looks exactly like the pics of the Vortech setup posted by Tbyrne. My new camera is still sitting in the box. I can get a pretty new wet kit for just a little more than the alchohol kit so I thought it would be more fun, at least for now. Thanks
Having a refill station at the house would be pretty cool, a little harder to explain since I promised I wouldnt do nitrous (fiance thinks I'll blow up the truck), but I'll figure something out

Heres my take. A 6psi non intercooled centrifugal blower doesn't give you very much power. Now that the blower is installed, you might as well run it to its potential. 11psi with alky gives you a hell of alot of power. Then you can add a small shot on top of that.

If you go with just 6psi and a medium sized wet shot you probably would've been better off saving $4000 and just installing a wet kit with a bigger shot.
