Default mystery cam?

i got a zo6 cam off the classifieds and it was supposed to be an 02 cam. I did some rough measuring and it doesnt come out to the .551 lift like its supposed to be. The # on the end of the cam is 4519 s21 5004. i cant make out the # that is stamped on it in between the lobes. anyone recognize this #? i dont want to use it till i know exactly what it is.

Nobody? Might have to take it to the dealership and let them examine it.

You might want to PM Chevyracer83 -- he's the man for finding part numbers etc. He might be able to help out.

Here's his profile: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...er.php?u=69530

Are you measuring the lift on the lobe or at the valve?

Sounds like he's doing it at the lobe because he said it's not installed yet. If that's the case, he would need to multiply lobe lift by 1.7 to get stated valve lift measurements...

Lobe lift would be about .324 to equal .551 at the valve...
