My tsp220 bolt on Lq9 setup dyno graph
#1
Been working on this for last six months. 07 escalade lq9 with 90k on it when it went into my 07 classic ccsb. Mods for this dyno run were as follows. Pacesetter lt w/ory paired to a single 3.5 inch magnaflow side exit exhaust, fipk intake, tsp220/220 cam, pushrods and springs. NOw I knew I would take some flack for this but I wanted to see how much power it would make on the dyno tuned on 91 with hp tuners on stock fuel sticks. Dyno tuner was impressed non the less with how much power it made on stock injectors. Just ordered some flex fuel 36lb injectors and clips. Then Im gonna retune (dyno). Hoping for another 10-15whp from this current setup. Then Im gonna switch over to the tbss intake manifold with 90tb and then throw back on the dyno again to see if I can hit the 400whp mark. Truck runs killer mated to a stg1 4l60 and trailblazer tc. Enjoy. Here is the graph

Shoot its almost there at 5000. Truck does run good. Shifting at 6300 it drops right into the peak trq and keeps pulling hard every shift. Just wish it had 4.11s. The 3.73s are just a tad to tall but IM afraid itll blow on the freeway for mileage. its at 2300rpms already at 70mph.

Thanks guys im pretty impressed with it for sure. Texas speed told me that I wouldn't be happy and to go with the tsp228 but I just didn't want to sacrifice my low end trq and wanted a nice flat trq curve. This cam was basically a drop in 50whp on a 6liter. Me and my buddy both did this same cam. He did before and after with it. 321whp before and just drop in and make another pull it did 364whp with no tune change. Then dialed in it did 373whp. Then he went from 3in exhaust to 3.5in exhaust and pulled 381whp. his truck runs hard. Motors in a scsb 4x4 and it straight hauls the mail. LOL

Exactly my thoughts. People on here are so willing to throw away trq and mileage for a few extra hp at 6500rpms. Well Im not one of them. I still wanna use my truck, I mean it is still in the end a truck. LOL
