Need help my 02 Chevy s10 2.2 has no *****. Its lowered and it blowers black suit out on exhaust

well, being lowered doesn't make it faster or slower lol. Just makes it lower

The black soot indicates the truck is dumping fuel. Either with a stuck injector, bad sensor (s) or a bad fuel pressure regulator

Has it had a tune up lately? 2.2’s weren’t exactly known for speed.

What is axle gear ratio ? Lower gears will be quicker.
What is manifold pressure ? More boost will be faster.

Last few S10s I worked on had IAT sensor connector issues.
new connector and good to go.

a 4BT swap would change it from bad soot to good soot

If it’s auto dump the gear selector from N->D at 6k.

might not give your truck ***** but proves you have some
