I got my new shortblock put together over the weekend. It is on the stand awaiting a set of heads. I just found out the heads are almost finished being CNC'ed. When I get them back then I have to send 'em off to have the thermal coating applied to the chambers.

The combo consists of: 370 iron block, forged blower dished pistons, H beam rods, ARP bolts, etc. I decided to go with an off the shelf cam this time-it is like .580/.590 and 224/230 on a 114. I am thinking it should make more overall power than before, I am just worried that it will want to pull to the moon. I advanced the cam 4 degrees to try and bring the power range down.

Anyways, I am very anxious to get it back on the road and on the track. It seems like I always miss the good cool spring weather. I never even got a lot of seat time with the intercooler so I have some tuning to do, then its
