Angry My headers are in contact with the chassis!

hey there guys i after i installed the heads and cam this sound started to appear i went to the nearest garage.. they put my car up on the lift.. and i saw that a pipe was in contact with my chassis.. what effect does this have.. and how could i solve the problem

The effect is that it causes a lot of noise. But, you know that already.

Loosen up all of your connections and see if you can reposition that a bit. The pipes shouldn't be that far over.

if it hits it could be seen as false knock by the computer.

beat the pipes or the frame....

every exhaust shop ive been to always puts a wrench or something right there to make sure there is clearence after everything is welded up

Check to make sure that the Y pipe connection in the Y pipe itself is fully seated.

push comes to shuve put a piece of old ruber hose between them solve problem there but it also does burn up after awhile
