I guess it isn't to bad considering were my air\fuel was.Made four pulls at Thunder Racing, two pulls in 2nd and two pulls in 3rd with the converter unlocked on all four pulls.Anyway, here is my last pull, being the best out of the four.
279.9 HORSEPOWER
314.3 TORQUE

Are those pulls with the shortbelt? Your numbers are very close to mine.(280/304) Now I am really curious about how you are getting me by a second and 6mph in the 1/4 with just a converter. I guess we will see in a few weeks when I get mine in.

Jeremy, how much for the dyno runs and how in hell did you get an appointment with them? Back in december they told me they were booked untill early Feb. Any, i was expecting a little more than that, but Those are some good numbers for a Bolt-on truck. Whats next? Maybe a cam swap?

Well,my air\fuel was at a little over 11.5.I don't really understand everything about it yet but I was told I could get more power with some tunning, guess it's time for LS1edit.
Keep in mind,BIGKID,these are corrected numbers with converter unlocked.I'm not 100% but I think it would have made more power on the dyno with a locked convert.(so I'm told).
With a converter you definitely will increase your ET(as long as your on good tires)but as far as mph a converter really won't help. And yes that was with shortbelt.

Sorry about that Justin,it was $69 for three pulls and Geoff throw another one in there for me
I went up there with Allan to dyno tune a truck he has been working on and Geoff said he could fit me in.

Cool, didn't know, alot people don't use them.I don't understand our ET & mph difference either, you said I have 6 mph on you? What program are you useing and what kind of power did you make on the gas

I am currently using the crappertech engine tunning (hpp3) in a modded LS1 file. I have edit but havent had a chance to mess with the engine tunning yet. Since I am at school I get the cable the lease out to the four of us that went in to get it.
I did not put down good numbers at all with the spray. Only got 356/373 but I loose a lot of nitrous out of the filter with my dry setup. With the hood closed I get a lot more recirculation but with the hood open(like at the dyno) it just excapes to the atmosphere.
