I've searched and haven't found much on the Aero Turbine as far as opinions, performance, and loudness. I watched a youtube vid of one on a nnbs white rcsb and it sounds sick. What I want to know is how loud they are compared to a cutout and if there's a lot of drone with LT's/ORY. I currently run a Dynomax turbo muffler with a DMH in front of it. I don't like the muddy sound of the muffler with the cutout closed and I don't like driving around with the cutout open because of the tractor-tone it has at cruising speeds/rpms. I'd love a Corsa but I don't want to spend that kind of change on a c/b. I heard from a couple of people (that don't own an Aero Turbine. BTW) that the AT3030 sounded just like a Corsa. Any fresh opinions? I plan on turning the exhaust out in front of the rear tire with a Corsa clone tip. Thanks!

 

I've watched a LOT of vids too. I can't really find good-quality vids with a cammed truck with a Spintech either, so if anyone has one please post it as well. I'm looking at Borla round xr1 mufflers, magnaflows (round) and even diesel mufflers since I can't find much about the aero turbines.

 

I run an Aero from tec on my 5.3 and love it. Can't be of much help as far as sound though because I'm still running stock manifolds and y pipe. I have it turned down over the rear axle and I get no drone what so ever. It is loudest around 1500 rpm or so bit once your up to about 2000 rpm ( 70 MPH for me) it is pretty quiet, until you get on the gas of course.

Its got some part throttle rasp that Im putting a strait through insulated muffler like a magaflow bullet in front of the spintech to clean that up. Cant find my skeleton back for my gopro and doubt the vid would be good with the full water proof cover on. Ill try to get some tomorrow.
