Default mount catchcan at an angle?

Is it any issue to mount the catch can at an angle or does it need to be completely upright to function properly? The bracket this thing came with is thick steel so no bending, however, if I need to I can get a bracket so that it's upright. But I'm a lazy bum, so I'd prefer to just mount it as in the picture. Just need to know if it will work fine like that. Thanks

I would think that would be ok, but just because I would try to mount it up right

I can't really find a great place to mount it besides onto the coil. I tried that ground bolt at the top of the picture but that also puts the can at an angle. The other option was to mount it where the battery box mounts to the alternator bracket. But it ended up touching several of those battery lines...and I know the catch can is going to end up getting pretty hot, don't want to be melting anything.

Make it look nice, mount it like I did mine. You've got room!

I might try some plumbers tape and mount it off the top ground strap bolt indeed.

I ended up mounting it as pictures above. I'm happy with it. I didn't like it up by the cowl. I will contact RevXtreme and see if mounting it at an angle compromises its function.
