Got a few things left to put back on the motor, but it's getting there fast. Just waiting on the computer. I just gotta put the intake manifold/injectors, driver side header, alternator bracket, fans, K&N, and a few hoses back on. Everything should be on by tomorrow. I'm really anxious to crank it and see how it sounds and feel the torque!

If you remember, earlier in the engine removal, I stripped one of the stock converter bolts. I ordered some ARP converter bolts...HUGE improvement. They are 13mm and look to be about about 1/4" shorter, but make life so much easier! I put a good amount of red locktite on them as well. Here is a pic:

After 3 weeks today, everything is finally done! I turn the ignition over about 10 times, without cranking it to build up fuel pressure. I tried to crank it about 5 or 6 times and the battery sounded weak. Put the battery charger on for about 30 minutes and it almost turned over. Gonna try it again in another 30 minutes.

thinking vapor lock... pull plug, turn over 2 - 4 times (but don't crank), put plugs back in, crank & run. Had to do that for my swap. Seemed like the battery was dying, but it wasn't.
