Iv been thinking about the z06 swap myself. i talked to the gm preformance guy at a show. he says dealer price is $6700 so theres a good tip. now for my applacation i was thinking twin turbos with a 100 shot of nos. but the problems that i face are trans will not hold, carrier bearing will explode, and even if i get that far it will not hook up. so if anyone knows of a trans that will back all that let me know. Then i could eat hemis and **** some lightings! Good luck with your swap. I'll be saving for a while

 

have you looked at the tci tranies.

 

Don't even think about paying 7 grand for a motor when you can get a fully built one for under 5 grand. I suggest doing a little research or calling someone like Thunder Racing and talking to them about motor options you will save alot of money that way.
