Default Motor making noise ...

This should be fun.

Last night, on the way to the trak, I pulled out to pass someone. ALl was good, good power, and then all the sudden it fell. It felt like it dropped a cylinder. I came up to another strecth of road where I could wind it out again. I slowed to about 50, layed into it, good all the way through 2nd, then 3rd hit, good shift, then it dropped the cylinder again.

I tried once more watching the fuel pressure gauge to see if it was dropping pressure. Well ... I got in it, came up to about 4500, then it let go, stopped pulling and rattling like no tomorrow.

It will start back up and I drove it on and off the trailer.

That CAN'T be good.....hopefully it's just a case of lean-out on the cylinder and the noise you heard was the plug coming apart. I REALLY hope the motor is ok

THIS picture is of the cylinder opposite the one pictured above.
