I assume you will be using a 6.0 block with a 5.3 or 4.8 crank....I dont think the 5.3 block can be bored that much, I think it can only go to 3.893. Sounds like you will have one sickass setup tho!

I Have a block sitting that has a bore of 4.030. It has nothing but cam bearing in it right now.

If you already have a block,polish your crank,recondition the rods with some ARP bolts and buy a set of aftermarket pistons.Go with the best set of heads you cam find and tune that 7000rpm combo.

I don't think the crank has any problems. I haven't pulled the pan yet though, but going by what I saw on the top, the bottom end will be fine.
