Default Most mileage from a 5.3?

I've got a '99 extended cab silverado with the 5.3. 541,000 miles. Original motor. Can anyone beat that?

The only work done internally (if you could call it that) is replacing the oil pump...once at about 270k and again at 530k. Plugs got replaced at like 300k, probably need to check those again Oil every 5k until it got up around 300k, now it gets changed every 3k religiously.

I don't think GM wants a darn thing to do with it, however, they were kind enough to send me a cool metal emblem that I can put on it for the 500,000 mile club. GM doesn't want word getting out that the motors can last that long, because people won't panick at 100k like they used to and go out and buy a brand new truck!

damn, I guess I can't complain about 95k on my truck then. Mind if I ask how in the hell you managed almost 500k since '99?
