Default most hp/tq on rcsb 4.8L

ok guys i just got beat on the highway by a malibu max sedan! my question which one will make my truck faster sense there almost the same price?
pacesetter LTs and wheatly tune on the 4.8 OR get a 6.0 block (prob lq4) and im guessing a tune to make it run right?

wheatley tune will make a night and day difference, but a 6.0 w/ a wheatley tune would be even better!

go 6.0! a NA 4.8 CANNOT compete with a bolt-on, cammed 6.0

thats it im getting a 6.0 lq4. now i just need to find one, anyone know good places to look? and doesnt have to be a 02+ cuz of the flexplate or crank or something?

I wasnt asking anything about rims, everyone gives me nothing but compliments on them...

by changing them alone youre going to be a little quicker, I didnt say anything about how they look. I honestly dont give much of a **** about rims on anything. I run stock Tahoe wheels on my truck... and they are plenty light. thats the main reason I'm not going back to anything bigger than an 18"

regear it for those tall tires first... some 4.10's will help out nicely. And if you are looking for big n/a power, you need cubes, the right cam choise, heads, and compression, if you are looking at 6L shortblocks, get an LQ9 vs the LQ4... but then again, I dont know much so do what you want
