Default more hp

hey guys im new to the site and i have a 2001 suburban 2wd i got from my parents i currently have a k&n 77 series intake and a flowmaster 50 series muffler what could i do to see more hp and better performance? would a throttle body spacer help ?any recommendations and also trying to stay away from turbo or supercharger until i get another car .

no to the TB spacer. Get a custom tune.

+1 on the spacer pos.. + 1 on the pcm. What kinda money you have to throw at it, it is all in what you have to spend... Wana go fast how much money you gots??/ LOL

I would tune it for sure. Some electric fans,lt headers port ur throttlebody if u looking for easy bolt-ons. If u wanna go further than that cam n stall

im saving up slowly but electric fans ive heard is a big yes and a tune i heard is a yes and headers then a cam would that make me have to get a stall? also if i get headers do i need new piping for my exhaust?

No brainer...Big Red Truck's engine and drivetrain. Well if that's not an option, a good used radix kit AND some tranny upgrades. I know I know, you said no blower. It really would be the best option, a little more up front cost, but far superior in the long run. Good luck!

the maggie would be great but that would take a while to save up

i would start with bigger plug wires, a tornado, throttle body spacer, and then a few gas magnets.

that should be about 40 hp
