I will shoot him a PM and do a search as well. Thanks for all the help guys. BTW when I was running 8.3's in my Maro I was running 12.70-12.80@107 in the 1/4.

comp cam xr265hr......212/218 .522/.529 114, TBSS stall would work good with this, comps part # is 54-412-11. i just did 4.10s and trutrac, and holy sh*t did my truck wake up......check ebay for the 220 cam, there is a guy in Plano,TX that does fresh copies of cams, and he has the same spec cam u want. I just ordered an 02 ls6 cam, 204/218 .550 .550 but ground on a 114 lsa instaed of 117.5. he will ground whatever lsa u want....heres the link

I think that one of the 212/218 cams would work well with your combo. I'd go with a 114 LSA on a DD but that's just me. It will have less overlap and idle smoother though (I know that you're looking for some lope)

The overlap on a 114 is -13*, which is nothing.. A 110 would be -5* which is still not a whole lot... Given he is going with a TB verter a 110 LSA cam will be easy to tune, tight LSA's on 9.5 verter is where the hard tuning comes into play, ask me how i know..... The increase in overlap and DCR should make a pretty good difference, in low end TQ, broader TQ range which would start out sooner and increase upper rpm HP...

I thought that the 110 would bring on the tq sooner, but the wider LSA would have the broader tq curve?

The 110 will increase the max TQ, but make it a little peakier... The extra lift will help boarden the TQ curve... That is why i suggested a tight LSA with more lift... the XE lobes are not the best, if they made XER lobes in that duration, it would help out more... IMO people say the wide LSAs make a broad TQ curve cause they don't make that much TQ compared to the Tight LSA.... So it starts out low and stays low, compared the peak of the tight LSA...

Once again just my opinion...

To put things in to perspective:

My experience:

222/224 .56x/.56x 112+2
I cut 2.0 60fts all day long...

214/220 .600/.597 108+2
I cut 1.8 60fts all day long...

No changes other than tune update and cam swap....
