Default Mild cam - gas mileage

Not that it really matters but how will a cam effect gas mileage on a 6.0 hd? Better if i'm not wfo all the time, or stay the same?
its going to be a 224/224 114lsa just for reference.
Its already bad enough but i was just curious. Something to think about for my ride home this evening.

I would think that with a stall to match that cam milage would suffer in the city a bit.

If you are concerned about mileage, I would probably down size the cam to like a 216/224 or something in there. That way a stock stall could be used but as we all know, a stall converter would help at the track but not in city mpg.

Keep in mind anytime you're making extra HP, you're using more fuel! But on these "baby" cams if you can keep your foot out of the epdal, then your mileage should stay pretty good!
