Way to go Neil! What have you done to improve from 16.3s to 16.0s? You have me beat now.

My 5.9 Dodge ran 15.96 with an underdrive pulley and K & N filter. My 6.0 16.21 with a UPD intake but factory filter.

Dodge 17.2 highway mileage and my new 6.0 15.8 so far. My Chevy is geared slightly lower. Both get about 11 mpg in city.

Chevy is sure a nice truck.

Hey Larry, glad to hear you are enjoying the Chevy.

I got the new times with a HPP3, nothing else. Raised rev limiter to 6100, and the shift points to 5800-5900 RPM. I didn't install the engine power tuning program, left it stock.

I guess a UPD is next, since there is a GP going on. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Need to get to a body shop first though. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

if you buy a silverado for let's say 20g's

you can make it faster than a 12.9 with an extra 26g's; a supercharger for less than 3G's will give an extra 120 or so ponies at the rear wheel (i think). then you add all the other stuff, i bet you can get it running 12.9's for around 10g's if not less. bring 'em on!

The Ram SRT10 is supposed to run 12.9's (aluminium V-10 and manual six speed) and will supposedly cost like 46,000... I think we can get our trucks into the high 12's for that much... if you have that kind of money. I do like the fact that it will be rolling on 24's out of the factory though.

All it would take is one of Joseph's 6.0L build-ups and a 100 shot for mid-to-high 12's. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Throw on a set of quality headers, and you'll go even faster. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
