Best race of the night was against a new black '02 Dodge quad/crew cab w/20's and *I think* 360 motor. The race was over by the time I got to the 60' mark. Damn those things are slow. He ran a 17.519/76.5mph to my 16.018/88.3mph. Plus I tree'd his *** bad. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> What was really funny was he setup the race between us with the staging lane director and then got his *** cracked. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Also raced a 97-98 C5 coupe A4. I had him at the 1/8th mile (baddd C5 driver), but he came around me at about the 800ft mark. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!

 

That C5 owner must be REALLY bad....WTF...Neil, if you ever beat me 1/8 mile, i would burn my car to the ground and give you the ashes <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

He was running low 14's all night. He shoulda let me drive. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> It was the same color as your car Daren. A friend of mine with a stock '01 Lightning waxed him (L ran 13.89).

I think those new Dodge trucks look okay, but geez, they are the weakest motored trucks available AND they use the most fuel.

hey yall have your fun now because dodge is coming out with a small truck with a viper engine. also coming out with a new engine in 2004 a 354 hemi. has like 345 hp and a lot more tq. i personally hate dodge and so hopefully chevy will come out with a truck that will blow it out of the water.

 

TnTrk53, my times were with no mods at all, didn't even change the tire pressure from the factory. It had 600 miles on it at the time, about a week old.
