Default Mast Motorsports vs Comp VVT?

I'm looking to get a cam to plug and play with the VVT. Either of the cams will have to use the phaser kit..

Comp Cams 271-PHR-14:

Duration: 218-232
Lift: .563/.575
Lobe: 114
Supposed power is from 1800-6900...

Mast Motorsports Escalde Cam L92 is:

Duration: 220/234
Lift: .570/.588
Lobe: 116
Mast has told me this would pull hard all the way to 6500rpm...

I will be ordering the phaser kit from Comp, but since I don't tow anything at all, and I'm looking for something that will keep pulling hard throughout the rpm...

Any ideas on which would suit best?

On another note, anyone tried on ***www.byunspeed.com***.. They offer the Mast at a great price!

Well I ordered the cam and its getting installed as we speak.. bought it from Byunspeed which i must say is a great company to deal with!

Will re-tune it tonight and hopefully get it run on the dyno sometime this week..

I should've added, it's the Mast Motorsports Escalade L92 cam. Cam swap is a pain in the ***, since no one has dealt with the VVT stuff here, i was their guenia pig... hopefully all will be good by tonight..

Hey Norris. How did the cam swap go? Hopefully you've got it sorted and can tell us the dyno results.
Did the cam come with a new phaser? Also, did you change the valve springs? If so, what did you go with?

i've had a few problems running into this cam... i thought mast would've been using the same a comps phaser kit, but they have a different kit that allows for more retard and advance without any ptv issues... will be ordering that and installing it soon...

springs i went with the 918s... mast also told me those springs seat pressure are a lot stronger then what was intended for the cam.. so i think ill be getting new springs as well...

once i order the correct parts ill post back with results... the only problems im running into are at idle, but cruise and wot it's a beast! mast told me i wasn't even releasing the full power of it, so hopefully once its corrected ill have double the happy face
