Default Manual Trannys and FI??

Just thinking out loud here. If one wanted to put a Procharger or other FI system on a RCSB w/ manual tranny, what would be involved? Why do the mfg's say not for use on manual transmission vehicles? Can the standard GM 5 speed tranny/clutch handle a blown 5.3?

The 5 spd(New Venture gear 3500) tranny is extremely weak with a holding HP rating of 285HP and only comes in the models with a 4.8 litre.

Bummer....

Soooooooo... now, say I have a strong enough man. tranny a 5.3 or 6.0 donor motor and a 4.8L RCSB that came w/ a stir stick, what is it about the FI kits that make them "not for use on manual transmissions?"

I'm just thinkin out loud right now but... I think in about a year or two I will be ready/need to move up to a Diesel 2500HD QuadCab. I'm thinkin it would be fun to put the ProCharger on a 01'-up man. tranny RCSB, flareside I'd want the manual for the fun factor. There aren't any sports cars I like right now so I figure maybe I'll make one.... but a truck...lowered, light, tight suspension... etc.

I think FI and manual transmission is because of surging(If I remember right), but I believe a Blow off valve would solve that. If you went for a manual, go for a Tremec T-56.

That's the only thing I could think of too. Most new kits have some sort of relief valve (I know my procharger does) but it still said no go for manuals. Oh well, may just have see about that Thanks
