Default Manifold Bolts

Are the exhaust manifold bolts reusable on the NNBS truck or have they swapped to torque to yeild like everything else?

I reused mine. Three years now without ever having one come loose. They were better than the bolts that came with the headers.

We see a ton of trucks come into work with the stock ones broken. Personally i had 4 broke on my 6 liter I replaced them with stock ones and no more issues. personally wouldn't reuse factory ones.

Don't even consider reusing them. I highly recommend replacing them with OE or better yet, use the GM studs many others on this site have used. Do a search and you will find them.

Definitetly get new ones! Or do the stud upgrade.

I'd like to know who supplies (or supplied) Gibson with their shorty header bolts, as I used mine on my shorties for 5+ years, and when I removed them to install my StainlessWorks LT's, they were in such good shape, that I didn't use the Stage8's that I had bought but rather reused the Gibsons. They've been on the engine for 10+ years now. Granted, they got a good coating of anti-seize on the threads, but the 12mm heads are still in great shape also, with just minor surface rust. It's my assumption that the bolts are stainless as the shorties were.
