Default MAF direction

Does it matter which direction the MAF sensor point? Can the MAF be rotated say 90* and it still work properly?

There shouldn't be any issues created by rotating it 90 degrees.

I agree, it's still going to have the same air going across it...as a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure that I read an article or thread somewhere where they rotated the MAF for a similar reason.
