well thats deff something to consider. i was just going to wait and use ls1edit to delete EGR because i'll need edit when i do the lq9 or lq4 conversion.

When the EGR ports are welded on, does the weld bead rust since its not coated like the rest of the headers? I think i would rather wait until edit comes in if thats the case. its deff and option tho... ill look into it more thanks for the input
