Default LT's w/ cats

I want LT's for my truck but I don't want it to sound obnoxious w/ an ORY-pipe. Is it pointless to get LT's if you get a catted y-pipe from a performance standpoint?

Pretty much. Leave the cats off and put a bullet as a resonator then the muffler you want.

I noticed a nice gain with my lts and cats, IDK I would've seen much of a difference with them vs no cats

I've been running LT's and ORY for over a year. I just installed some Magnaflow universal 3" spun converters last week. I gained some of my low end torque back. I say get some cats. you don't loose enough HP to notice.

I've read that going catless only gains you about 3 horsepower. Go for it.
